The moss stitch or seed stitch is a simple stitch and looks great since it is so textured when used as an all over pattern.

This simple pattern is quite basic in that is requires only the knit stitch. Hence, thicker yarns generally require fewer stitches, and therefore less time, to knit up a given garment.
